Steven Laws
My name is Steven “Imp The Great” Laws, I’m a rap music producer (By Any Means Music) and a filmmaker (From Rap To Film). I’m an accomplished rapper/emcee and novice filmmaker, and I enjoy cooking. I’m 57 years old and I’ve been rapping since age 13. I’m a well-known underground emcee in Los Angeles, as I’m from the “Project Blowed” and “Good Life” open mic venues. In the 1997 “Rap Olympics” I won one-round-out-of-two in a rap battle against Eminem. Although we split rounds he was declared the winner (go figure).
I’m also the founder and host of “The Rappers Over Thirty Podcast” (R.O.T). I started the podcast to support, network, and help build the fanbase for rappers over thirty. I believe the “Rap is a young man’s game” philosophy is a conspiracy that falls in line with the "Willie Lynch Letters”. The (R.O.T) podcast is open for healthy discussions with those who agree or disagree with “Rap is a young man’s game”. - Imp The Great
